What is Xantomatosis Serebrotendinosa ?

Xantomatosis Serebrotendinosa is a rare hereditary disease, caused by accumulation cholesterol (a metabolic product of cholesterol) in the network.


SYMPTOMS
This disease ultimately leads to:
- Uncontrolled movement
- Dementia (dementia)
- cataract
- The growth of fat (xantoma) on the tendon (tendon).

These symptoms often arise when new patients over the age of 30 years.


TREATMENT
When these symptoms appear early, kenodiol drugs can help prevent progression of the disease, but can not heal the damage that has occurred previously.
